The gals of Golden Hour Social  joined forces to create a comfortable place to connect through crafts and company. These three lady bosses all run their own creative enterprises and share a vision to provide a space that nurtures skill-sharing, community-building and friendship-making.

Joanna Goss is the owner of Well-Crafted Design. Her unmistakable style and contemporary pattern-based paintings have earned her recognition from across the web. From custom stationery to textiles, Goss' nostalgic and of-the-moment sensibilities have landed her retail lines with top national brands. Well-Crafted Design showcases her DIY sensibilities in the one-of-a-kind spaces and events she creates. She lives with her boyfriend and their two cats in Aurora.


Brandy Thomas is a fiber artist and the creator behind Ket Mercantile. She is currently focusing her artistic energy on weaving and crafting modern macrame home decor. Besides working with fiber, Brandy is also a freelance hair stylist. She resides in the Fox River Valley with her husband, adventurous little boy and two dogs.


Brea Hayes is the owner of FAWN Gifts, a shop focused on curated products by independent and local makers. She is passionate about self-care, shopping local, creating community, intersectional feminism and her shop pup, Mazzy. She hosts the podcast River Town Life produced by Fox Valley Voice where she chats about living, running a business, and figuring out how to live a full and self-compassionate life. Before moving to Batavia with her (almost) husband two years ago Brea lived in Chicago for most of fourteen years focusing her time and energy working within the theater and social justice world.
